Care Founded on Two Perspectives. One Shared Purpose.
Wise Willow Care was founded by Melissa, a Medical Social Worker, and Sharon, a Registered Nurse, after years of supporting older adults and their families through some of life's most vulnerable transitions.
Through our work, we saw how overwhelming finding the right care could be. Families weren't simply looking for someone to help with daily tasks—they were looking for someone they could trust in their home and feel comfortable having beside someone they love.
We created Wise Willow Care to be the kind of agency we would want for our own families.
Our backgrounds allow us to look at care from two complementary perspectives. Melissa brings an understanding of family dynamics, emotional well-being, communication, and the personal qualities that help someone feel comfortable and understood. Sharon brings a nursing perspective, with an understanding of care needs, safety, caregiver skills, and the practical details required to provide dependable support at home.
Together, we take the time to understand the person behind the care needs —their personality, routines, preferences, culture, interests, and what makes them feel most at ease.
